Ruth, it has been so wonderful seeing you shine in a multitude of projects across Digital Learning this year. You have shown your expertise as a Learning Experience Designer in everything you do. Your work is thoughtful, clear, and always keeps the learners’ experience in mind. You speak your mind and stand up for what is important when it comes to the educational experience. You are such a strong resource for the LXD manager as your knowledge of both ILC and MOE courses is outstanding.
Over this year, you have shown wonderful collaboration with the Curriculum Specialist for Financial Literacy and EAE1W leading to amazing work under challenging circumstances. You are a true asset to the Digital Learning team.

Ruth! What an absolute pleasure to have you on the team. I don’t know what I would do without you (and I’m not just saying that because I don’t know how to make template changes!) You hold a lot of knowledge in this job and you are always willing to share this knowledge with others. You go above and beyond (see my comments about the template). You are always willing to take something on. I appreciate your steadiness when it comes to course production. You often have good process improvement ideas as well. I look forward to everything you do in the year ahead!

Such a big thank you to Ruth for her flawless Template creation and Template documentation. Even months after she created her guides, I am still using her instructions to set up the template on my new computer. Thank you!!!

Thank you Ruth for taking on so much lately. Your work with CHV2O, the transition with NDA3M, and your awesome training and peer buddy time with Jacquie-you have tackled it all to great success! Thank you so much!

During my training period as a beginner Learning Experience Designer (LXD) at TVO.me, Ruth was my patient and kind peer mentor, who was always ready to guide me, even while managing her own workload. As an exemplary peer mentor, she helped me navigate through the LXD training with ease and understanding. Over the years, we collaborated together on many courses for the Ministry of Education’s, Digital Learning project. Ruth’s technical knowledge for Secondary STEM courses, her insights, and her applied creativity for course development and design interactivity are beyond impressive. She is a supportive colleague, who I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work with these past years.
— Sabrina Hemani Rajpaul, former Learning Experience Designer at TVO.me

Ruth and I worked together on several math and science courses. She played a significant role in ensuring the individuals taking the course had a great learning experience with her instructional design skills and knowledge. Ruth has the ability to transform any learning experience into a fun, engaging, and knowledgeable experience through any challenges we faced. I can honestly say working with Ruth is an absolute pleasure, and I left every collaborative meeting with innovative solutions.
